Service Description
Specialized in-home support for persons living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of cognitive decline. Care focuses on maintaining routine, ensuring safety, and providing calm, consistent assistance with daily activities. Rate: 55/hour Minimum visit: 3hours Families may schedule visits based on their needs or select from structured support levels. 📌 Key Supports Include: *Personal care and hygiene assistance *Meal support and hydration reminders *Medication reminders (non-clinical) *Safety supervision and wandering prevention *Routine and structure support *Companionship and emotional reassurance *Behavioural redirection and calm engagement All dementia care visits require a minimum booking of 3Hrs per visit to ensure safe, structured, and meaningful support. Dementia Care Support Levels (Tiered Structure) 🌿 Level 1: Light Support (Early Stage Care) Designed for individuals in early stages of memory loss who need gentle support and routine assistance. Includes: 2–3 visits per week (minimum 3 hours per visit) Personal care support Meal preparation & hydration reminders Light supervision and companionship Routine reinforcement & structure support 👉 Best for maintaining independence with supportive oversight. Typical weekly range: 6-9 hours per week Rstimated weekly cost: $330-$495 🌱 Level 2: Moderate Support (Progressing Care Needs) For individuals requiring consistent daily structure and supervision. Includes: 4–6 visits per week or daily care 3-4 hours per visit Extended support with personal care Medication reminders (non-clinical) Safety supervision and wandering support Behavioural redirection & calm engagement Increased companionship & routine management 👉 Best for stabilizing routines & reducing caregiver strain at home. Typical weekly range: 12-24 hours per week Estimated weekly cost: $660-$1,320 🌳 Level 3: High Support (Advanced Dementia Care) For individuals requiring continuous supervision & hands-on assistance. Includes: 4hrs+per daily care support (including weekends if needed) Extended or multiple daily visits Full personal care assistance High-level supervision & safety monitoring Meal, hygiene, & mobility support Consistent caregiver assignment for familiarity Family communication updates 👉 Best for advanced cognitive decline & higher safety needs. Typical weekly range: 28+hours per week Estimated weekly cost: $ 1,540+ Care needs often change over time, & support levels can be adjusted as needed to ensure consistency
Cancellation Policy
Radiant Star Care Plan Policy 📌 Packages & Services All care is provided through hourly services or prepaid packages designed for consistent, reliable support. Packages must be used within the stated timeframe. 🔄 Renewals Care packages are not automatically renewed. Clients may choose to purchase a new package once their sessions are completed or nearing expiry to continue care without interruption. 📅 Scheduling All visits must be booked in advance. Regular scheduling is encouraged to maintain consistency. Same-day requests are subject to availability. 🔄 Cancellations We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed visits may be charged in full. 💳 Payments Packages are paid in full before services begin. Hourly services are billed as agreed at booking. Services may be paused for overdue payments. 💰 Refunds & Unused Sessions Packages are non-refundable once services have begun. Unused sessions must be used within the package timeframe. Extensions may be granted at Radiant Star’s discretion in special circumstances. 🧑⚕️ Care Standards All services are provided by trained caregivers and tailored to each client’s needs.
